Project Road Map

The Step-by-Step Journey of Your Project from Concept to Completion

Starting a building project can be daunting for first-timers, so we created this map to take you through each of the steps along the way, starting from the first meeting right till the final product.

The duration of a construction project varies depending on its scope and specifications. We provide estimated timelines during the consultation phase, and our team works efficiently to meet deadlines.

As one of Roll Construction's customers, we guide you through every step of the building process, ensuring that the entire process is smooth and collaborative. Here’s how we’ll work with you:

Fine Design & Planning
(4-16 Weeks+)

As move into the design phase, we develop a preliminary budget based on the agreed concept. With your approval, we start working on the construction drawings and detailed selections, such as materials and finishes, to suit your project’s style and requirements. During this phase, any special project requirements are identified and integrated into the plans.

Construction
(6-52+ Weeks)

With all plans finalized, we’ll commence construction. You’ll be involved in regular site meetings to stay informed of progress. A substantial completion walkthrough ensures everything is built to your satisfaction, and upon completion, we’ll deliver the keys to your newly finished project.

Consultion Phase
(1 Day – 3 Weeks+)

We begin with an initial consultation to understand your needs and vision for the project. Then, we conduct a site consultation to assess the property and gather vital information, followed by an office consultation to discuss the specifics. Afterward, we’ll sign a Design/Preconstruction Contract to formalize our collaboration. Using management tools like JobTread, we ensure the project is set up for success..

Concept Phase
(3-8 Weeks+)

Next, we enter the concept development stage. After establishing the existing conditions of the site, we work on producing design concepts. You’ll have the opportunity to review these concepts, and we’ll incorporate any feedback before finalizing the designs. This process ensures your vision is aligned with our plans. Once approved, we will prepare detailed quoting plans for your review.

Throughout this journey, Roll Construction is committed to delivering a transparent and stress-free building process.
